Church Mutual Insurance Company, headquartered in Merrill, Wis., promoted Alan S. Ogilvie from president to president and chief executive officer. Ogilvie assumed the role from Rich Poirier, who retired after 12 years at Church.
Ogilvie previously held positions at Wausau Insurance Companies, Caliber One Indemnity, Godfrey & Kahn S.C. and Capitol Insurance Companies before joining Church Mutual in 2015. At Church, he was named CM Vantage Specialty Insurance Company president in 2016. He also served as president – subsidiaries, executive vice president and president – subsidiaries before being named president of Church Mutual in January 2023.
