First MainStreet Insurance L.C. (FMSI), an affiliate of TrueNorth Companies L.C., announced it has added two Iowa-based partner agencies.
Joining the First MainStreet platform in June was Hagge Insurance Agency. As a second-generation insurance agency with roots dating back to 1975, Hagge Insurance Agency brings three office locations in Southeast Iowa. The firm is led by two brothers, Jeff and Jason Hagge, who will remain partners in this venture, with the support of three staff members who also joined the FMSI family.
The second agency joining the FMSI platform is Ringgold Insurance Services (RIS), located in Mt. Ayr, Iowa. Ted Smith has owned and operated this agency since its inception. His daughter, and FMSI’s new partner, Renda Smith, will be joining the team and helping lead the agency forward with the support of one other team member.
FMSI is an affiliate of TrueNorth Companies, L.C. Led by many TrueNorth senior leaders, the FMSI model focuses on smaller agencies to perpetuate their business while maintaining a local presence and legacy within their communities.
