Newport Beach, California-based Alliant Insurance Services has hired Dan Madej in Chicago to serve as senior vice president, Public Entity.
Madej will serve as the practice leader for the Public Entity Analytics Practice, a subdivision of Alliant Public Entity. Madej will provide tools and services to complement Alliant’s leading position in the public entity segment, providing risk financing and risk transfer solutions to pools.
With 20 years of experience, Madej is regarded for his reinsurance know-how working with commercial carriers and public entity pools, including actuarially-based reinsurance structure design and pricing, catastrophe modeling, and exposure management tools. Prior to joining Alliant, Madej was senior vice president at a global brokerage firm.
Madej holds an Associate of Reinsurance (ARe) designation from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.
