Chicago-based insurance brokerage, Assurance, has added Abby Schwarz as a vice president in the Employee Benefits division.
Schwarz brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before joining Assurance, she worked at a leading global management consulting firm in Chicago as a principal. Prior to that, Schwartz was a financial consultant and underwriter.
At Assurance, Schwartz’s main responsibility is to develop strategic benefit plans for clients. To do so, she collaborates with each client to gain an understanding of their overall goals, objectives and growth plans.

Her process includes conducting contract analyses, compliance reviews and benchmarking as well as exploring alternative methods to control plan costs. Schwartz has an innate ability to minimize workplace risk and maximize the health and well-being of clients’ employees through creative, cost-effective strategies.
