Benchmark Management Group Inc., a managing general agent and wholesale insurance broker with locations in the Chicago and Milwaukee areas, has been acquired by national wholesale insurance broker, managing general agency and program manager, Worldwide Facilities LLC.
Benchmark is led by President Tim Makowski and Vice President Shawn Makowski. Benchmark began writing business in 1990 and in 2008 expanded its operation with the acquisition of Specialty Lines Underwriters.
Marsh, Berry & Company Inc. served as the financial advisor to Benchmark.
Worldwide Facilities, based in Los Angeles, has been in business since 1970.
