Great American Insurance Group, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, has hired F. Michael Csorba as divisional president within the property and casualty group’s Ocean Marine Division.
He will succeed John Rowney, who is retiring after nearly 28 years of service with the company.
Csorba joins Great American from International Marine Underwriters (IMU) where he served as vice president of the hull and liability product lines.
Mr. Csorba serves as the chairman of the Inland Hull, Fishing and Yacht Committee for the International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI). Additionally, he served on the board of directors for the American Institute of Marine Underwriters and also as the chair of the Hull Committee. He also served as a representative for the Water Quality Insurance Syndicate.
Csorba holds the Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM) and Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.
