J.M. Wilson has promoted Kristy Stratton to property/casualty underwriter in its Portage, Mich., office. She is responsible for quoting new and renewal accounts for a wide variety of commercial property and casualty risks, as well as issuing policies and servicing accounts for independent insurance agents.

Stratton was hired in 2012 as transportation and property/casualty technician, before being promoted as assistant underwriter in 2013. Prior to joining the J.M. Wilson team she held a packaging specialist position with Perrigo and Thermofisher Scientific.
J.M. Wilson is a managing general agency and surplus lines broker with branch and affiliate offices in eight states.
