Amelia, Ohio-based American Modern Insurance Group has promoted two team members to senior positions within the organization. Elvia Alaniz was named vice president of the sales west region and Sheri Wilson was appointed national account manager.
Alaniz has more than 18 years of insurance experience in marketing, underwriting and sales. She previously served as director of marketing for American Modern and assistant vice president of underwriting at ICW Group/Explorer Insurance.
Wilson previously served as territory sales manager covering the states of Arizona and New Mexico, where she earned corporate sales awards as the MVP of the West Region in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Prior to joining American Modern, Wilson worked in various insurance sales and marketing roles for 15 years. Wilson has obtained her CPCU and CIC designations.
