Socius Insurance Services Inc., a management liability and property/casualty insurance wholesaler, has hired Michael Morman as assistant vice president – property/casualty producer. Morman will be based in Elgin, Ill, in the Chicago area.

A graduate of Olivet College in Olivet, Mich., Morman earned a degree in Insurance and Risk Management and interned for a successful insurance group. He began his professional career by working for a major insurance carrier, holding positions in both claims and underwriting. Prior to joining Socius, Morman worked in Stockton, Calif., for a Florida-based insurance wholesale management company.
