Officials say a major wildfire in the Upper Peninsula area of Michigan that started about three weeks ago has been fully contained.
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources on Wednesday issued the update about the Duck Lake fire, which burned slightly more than 21,000 acres in Luce County.
The DNR says crews will continue to monitor the fire.
The wildfire destroyed 136 structures, including homes, outbuildings and campers, and temporarily closed a popular state park at Tahquamenon Falls.
No injuries were reported.
