New Berlin, Wis.-based United Heartland has appointed Mary Miller as director of corporate underwriting.
Miller recently joined United Heartland and is responsible for the ongoing development of the company’s underwriting strategy and direction, with direct involvement in underwriting quality control, divisional consultation and training.
Miller has been serving as an underwriting consultant for United Heartland for the past five months. Her career includes more than 25 years in underwriting leadership positions with national insurance companies, including Northbrook Insurance Co., Unigard Insurance Co., Great American Insurance, Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. and Zurich North America.
