Indianapolis, Ind.-based MJ Insurance, one of the largest privately-held insurance agencies in the United States, has been named one of Indiana’s Top Workplaces for 2011.
The Top Workplaces honor, sponsored by The Indianapolis Star, recognizes leading workplaces in Central Indiana and is an award program determined solely by confidential employee survey responses. Survey responses unearthed some interesting trends. For example, 75 percent of MJ’s associates have been with the company for more than five years while 45 percent have been with the company for 10 years or more.
MJ Insurance is a property-casualty and employee benefit agency that, since 1964, has grown from a two person start-up to an agency with more than 125 employees.
