Teri Morante has been named senior deputy commissioner in the Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation (OFIR) by Commissioner Kevin Clinton.
Morante will be responsible for overseeing OFIR’s Consumer Services, Licensing and Product Review and Policy Divisions.
Morante most recently served as the assistant vice president for regulatory and government affairs at Citizens Insurance Co. in Howell, Mich. Before joining Citizens, Morante was with the Michigan’s insurance bureau.
Morante has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance and legislative fields.
