Mark Baechle has been appointed senior vice president of Willis of Illinois Inc.’s Surety Practice, effective immediately. He will be responsible for managing the Surety operation in Willis’ Chicago office.
Baechle will also be responsible for maintaining, developing and executing on both growth and client strategies. In addition, he will manage Willis’ market relationships and client service delivery, including personnel and technology. He will report to Greg Field, executive vice president and managing director, Construction and Surety Practice.
Prior to joining Willis, Baechle served as the national surety leader at Integro Insurance Brokers. He has also held roles at Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Co. and XL Surety.
Willis of Illinois Inc. consists of more than 450 associates with offices in Chicago and Schaumburg, Ill.
