When complete, the Great American Tower in Cincinnati, Ohio, will be the city’s tallest building, and one crowned with a tiara.
City leaders celebrated Tuesday as the final piece was placed into the “grand tiara” on top of the building at Queen City Square.
The 41-story building is the new tallest building in downtown Cincinnati, surpassing the former champ, the Carew Tower.
Designers said the new building’s rounded pinnacle was inspired by a tiara worn by Britain’s late Princess Diana.
The $322 million tower is set to open in January. Great American Insurance Co. will occupy more than half the space.
