Rolling Meadows, Ill.-based C. W. Olson and Company, an affiliate of the full-service insurance brokerage firm Associated Agencies Inc., has promoted Matthew Meliker to executive vice president and in-house counsel.

Meliker, a resident of Itasca, Ill., has practiced law since May 2001, and joined C.W. Olson and Company in 2004. He holds an MBA with a concentration in corporate law and serves on the board of directors for Benefit Security Insurance Company.
