Harleysville, Penn.-based Harleysville Insurance Co. recently named Kathleen Killgore regional vice president of its Midwest claims service center located in Edina, Minn. In her new position Killgore will be responsible for the company’s claims activities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Since joining Harleysville in 1994, Killgore has held various roles, including claims manager for the Traverse City, Mich., branch, as well as claims division manager, where she handled the oversight of
litigated/casualty claims in seven offices. Most recently, she was responsible for the resolution of complex litigation claims in Harleysville’s Midwest region. Prior to coming to Harleysville, she held a number of leadership and technical positions with Aetna Casualty and Surety Co. and Transamerica Insurance Group.
Killgore is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich., and holds the professional designation of Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
