Toledo, Ohio-based Hylant Group, a business insurance agency, has hired Steve Stuart as a property risk senior consultant in its Troy, Mich. location.
Prior to joining Hylant, Stuart was a vice president and senior consultant at Marsh Risk Consulting, a unit of Marsh USA, Inc., according to Hylant’s written release. Stuart is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the NFPA Explosion Protection Systems Committee. His focus at Hylant will be in the areas of loss control and property risk consulting.
Commenting on Stuart’s hiring in Troy, president of the Troy office Steve Hylant said: “Adding a dimension of experience that Steve brings to our rapidly growing Large Accounts Practice (LAP) is a true win for us.”
Stuart says of his new position at Hylant, “I am looking forward to being a part of a growing company and participating in the new opportunities that will come with this new position.”
