announced that it has expanded its line of insurance products with the introduction of a new, Internet-based small business workers’ compensation insurance program for agencies in Minnesota.
Coverage for the program is provided by members of the XL Capital group, XL Specialty Insurance Co. and Greenwich Insurance Co.
The company said Minnesota agents and brokers will have the capability to quickly and conveniently address their small business customers’ workers’ compensation needs by:
鈥擡ntering underwriting data with no paper submission;
鈥擱eceiving real-time quotes and proposals;
鈥擬aking purchases and getting policy receipts online;
鈥擥etting other online policy service capabilities.
InsureVianet uses an information technology infrastructure and insurance software from Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC).
According to Bruce Bobey, InsureVianet’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, the workers’ comp insurance program is now available in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, with additional states under evaluation.
