Birmingham, Mich.-based agency Kelter-Alliant has appointed William P. Wood as its chief operating officer.
Wood, who becomes Kelter-Alliant’s first COO, joins the company from Feeney, Kellett, Wienner and Bush, a defense firm in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., where he served as executive director.
Wood also has held executive positions with Argus Associates, of Ann Arbor, and he was instrumental in assisting in the merger of Hill/Lewis and Clark, Klein and Beaumont, the largest law firm merger in Michigan’s history.
Before joining Hill/Lewis, he worked at Geisinger and Dial, a Troy, Mich., CPA firm. A CPA, Wood is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn Campus.
Kelter-Alliant also has offices in Chicago and London and is a division of Alliant Insurance Services Group.
