Farmington Hills, Mich.-based has promoted John Linxwiler to core service center manager for the St. Louis office, effective immediately.
Linxwiler joined Amerisure, which specializes in serving manufacturing, contracting and commercial enterprises, in 1987 as a management trainee. He spent three years in Amerisure’s Memphis office before transferring to the St. Louis core service center in 1990, where he worked in marketing. Linxwiler then moved to underwriting, was promoted to senior marketing underwriter, and ultimately territorial manager.
In his new position, Linxwiler will be responsible for the performance of the St. Louis core service center, and will report to Ziolkowski.
A Tennessee native, Linxwiler received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Memphis and holds a CPCU designation. He is the current president and member of the St. Louis CPCU Chapter, as well as a member of the Pine Street Club of St. Louis. Linxwiler was a finalist for Amerisure’s Marketing Underwriter of the Year in 2001 and 2002.
