The Ford Motor Company announced that it will begin providing quotations for automobile coverage in cooperation with local insurance agents.
The service, which will enable car owners to receive and compare up to three different estimates at no charge, begins test marketing in Ohio and several other states this week. It’s is administered by American Road Services, a division of Ford Motor Credit Co.
Plans call for the program to be available nationally by the end of 2003.
