Travelers Insurance announced it will re-enter the Ohio insurance marketplace for new commercial auto and umbrella business with the enactment of the “Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Availability Act of 2001”.
Chief Underwriting Officer, Travelers Commercial Lines Peter Higgins stated that the company is said delighted to have been able to maintain a viable renewal market in Ohio and is even more pleased that solicit new commercial auto and umbrella business. He added that Travelers is grateful to the agents, business owners and legislators who played an active role in working toward passage of the Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Availability Act.
