Carpenter Taps Aon’s Goodman for Newly Created Role of Chief Client & Growth Officer
Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance business of Marsh McLennan, announced the appointment of Jeremy Goodman as chief client & growth officer. Goodman will be based in New York, reporting to Dean Klisura, president and CEO of Guy Carpenter, and will join Guy Carpenter’s Executive Committee.
In this newly created global role, Goodman will be responsible for Guy Carpenter’s client engagement strategies and overall growth agenda, and will work closely with regional and specialty colleagues to deliver Guy Carpenter’s suite of capabilities to clients. He will serve as a senior representative of the firm to clients, reinsurers, and wider industry stakeholders.
Goodman brings nearly four decades of global reinsurance leadership to the role. He will join Guy Carpenter from Aon, where he has held senior executive roles in the US, UK, and Asia, and most recently served as global growth leader and chief broking officer since May 2024.

Aon Promotes Anderson as Head of Professional Services
Insurance broker Aon plc announced the appointment of Tom Anderson as head of Professional Services, Global Broking Centre, London.

Anderson joined the firm in 2023 to lead Aon’s Design and Construction Professional Indemnity (PI) team in the GBC. He will be responsible for leading and overseeing strategic advisory, operational efficiency and client service delivery across broking activities for professional services in the GBC.
“This appointment underscores the growing momentum within Aon’s broking capabilities and reflect our commitment to the 3×3 strategy, driving smarter, faster, and more scalable solutions through increased investment in the future of risk and human capital,” commented John Brosnan, head of Financial & Professional Services Group, in a statement.
