Rokstone, the international speciality re/insurance MGA that is part of the Aventum Group, announced it is expanding its property direct and facultative (D&F) portfolio with a new binder backed by Lloyd’s Somers Syndicates 3705 and 5423.
This agreement provides Rokstone with capacity for international facultative property, power and onshore energy reinsurance.
Rokstone said the partnership with Somers highlights Rokstone’s ability to collaborate with leading carriers and further enhances its panel of A-rated markets, which includes Munich Re, Allianz, Arch Re Bermuda and Aviva.
“We are thrilled to partner with Somers as we continue to grow and diversify our portfolio. At a time of increasing demand for specialised reinsurance solutions across these lines globally, this deal strengthens our ability to offer clients comprehensive, world-class coverage,” commented Henry Hogarth, senior property D&F Underwriter at Rokstone, in a statement.
“This agreement expands our offerings and reinforces our position as a key player in the global reinsurance sector,” he added.
With this latest addition, the Rokstone Property D&F team now underwrites more than $300 million GWP in worldwide business.
