Ryan Specialty Group Europe announced that its London-based transactional risk managing general underwriter, Hunter George & Partners, is changing its name to RSG Transactional Risks Europe.
The dedicated transactional risks underwriting team will continue to offer its proprietary transactional insurance solutions for mergers and acquisitions, said RSG in a statement. Products offered by RSG Transactional Risks Europe include warranty & indemnity, tax insurance and contingent risk insurance.
In 2016, Hunter George & Partners joined RSG as a London-based MGU focused on transactional risks for non-U.S. entities. In July, RSG announced it was opening a new office in Barcelona, Spain, which will expand the company’s transactional risk product offerings and geographic footprint.
With the continued growth of this business, the renaming identifies the MGU more closely to the RSG platform.
