Clyde Bernstein has been appointed as the head of Broking – Great Britain (GB), for Willis Towers Watson’s Corporate Risk and Broking division.
He reports jointly to Philip Smaje, global head of Broking, and Alastair Swift, head of Corporate Risk & Broking – GB.
Bernstein has been at Willis Towers Watson since 1990 and was previously, director of Broking, Fine Art, Jewellery and Specie.
In his new role, Bernstein will be responsible for developing and implementing Willis Towers Watson’s broking strategy across Great Britain.
He also will lead the company’s “development of facilities and panels, as well as the enhanced use of data, analytics and technology. This enables us to build sustainable facilities irrespective of product class or the market cycle,” said Philip Smaje, global head of Broking, Willis Towers Watson.
Alastair Swift, head of Corporate Risk & Broking, GB, Willis Towers Watson, said: “We are delighted to continue to invest in our internal talent. Clyde’s broking and business experience will strengthen Willis Towers Watson’s stakeholder relationships and ensure we provide specialist broking expertise to deliver excellence for our clients.”
