Chubb Global Markets, the London-based wholesale insurance division of Chubb, announced the promotion of John Wadhams, currently senior underwriter, Aviation, to the role of chief underwriting officer, Aviation, with immediate effect.
In his new role, Wadhams will work on the management and profitable development of Chubb Global Markets aviation portfolio. He will continue to be based in London.
Wadhams has 26 years of insurance industry experience. Before joining legacy ACE in 2004, he held a series of aviation broking roles for Willis over a period of 15 years.
“John’s great underwriting experience and market knowledge will be instrumental in further expanding the capabilities of our aviation division…,” said Mathew Shaw, division president, Chubb Global Markets.
