Insurance broker Lockton has named Josh Dircks as a senior vice president in Lockton Bermuda to expand the capabilities of the Lockton Global Energy expertise on the island.
As a key senior leader of the Lockton Global Energy and Lockton Risk Solution teams, he will work closely with Lockton’s global operations and focus on providing energy and complex risk management casualty programs for clients around the world.
Dircks joins Philip DiMeglio who leads the Lockton Bermuda, Financial, Casualty, Energy and Property business.
“Bringing Josh on board is an important expansion of the Bermuda office and is part of our strategy to build a global energy platform,” said DiMeglio. “He will bolster our capabilities in Bermuda, helping us to further serve and meet the needs of clients and associates worldwide.”
Dircks has more than 10 years of experience as both an underwriter and broker on excess casualty, complex accounts, and global energy programs. Dircks joined Lockton from Starr Companies where he was western region manager for energy excess casualty based in Houston. He has also worked at Aon in the U.S. as well as at Aon and Starr in Bermuda. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
