Swiss Re announced the appointment of Walter Eraud as General Director Swiss Re, France. He joined Swiss Re in July 2010 and currently works as Head of Client Management in Swiss Re’s Paris office.
Eraud covers the French reinsurance market with a particular focus on non-life regional and national insurance clients. Prior to joining Swiss Re he worked for a number of years in reinsurance with Ge Frankona Insurance Solutions and XL Re Europe as a Senior Casualty Underwriter.
Eraud is a qualified actuary from the Institut de Science financi猫re et d’Assurances, University of Lyon.
