MAPFRE Group’s David O’Gorman, URS Managing Director-Spain/Portugal/Latin America, announced that the group has “licensed Risk Explorerâ„¢, the Dynamic Financial Analysis (DFA) software and a suite of other products from Ultimate Risk Solutions (URS).”
The bulletin described “Risk Explorerâ„¢” as the “DFA software used by many of the world’s leading insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and regulatory agencies to model and quantify the various risks a company faces.”
Alex Bushel, CEO of URS, pointed to the “rigorous testing and evaluation process” that went into developing MAPFRE selected Risk Explorerâ„¢ and other URS products.
MAPFRE noted that a license is “multi-year and includes UltiFitâ„¢, statistical distribution and curve-fitting software, and Predictable Dynamics, generator of global macroeconomic scenarios, among others.”
Luigi Lubelli, Deputy General Manager-Finance, MAPFRE S.A., observed that the one of the most impressive features of the product suite “was its ease of use, which allows average users to become productive in a relatively short time span.”
