Travelers announced a series of promotions within Travelers Syndicate Management Ltd. (Syndicate 5000), the company’s Lloyd’s operation, “to support long-term development in this important market.”
Alan Prestwich, previously head of the Marine team, has been promoted to Senior Business Unit Head. He will oversee and support the leaders of the Global Property, Power & Utilities and Marine units.
Graham Gorsuch will succeed Prestwich as Marine Business Unit Head. He was previously Deputy Head of Marine, concentrating on the hull account. Gorsuch will assume executive responsibility for the management of all lines of business in the Marine unit.
Andrew Corton takes on leadership of the cargo account as Senior Cargo Underwriter. He joined the company in 2004 as a project cargo underwriter with more than 27 years of Lloyd’s and company market experience.
Jason Stephenson has been promoted to Senior Underwriter for yachts after joining Travelers in 2008. He has worked in the Lloyd’s market for 22 years and has been underwriting yachts for 15 years.
