The ACE Global Engineering Network (AGEN), a division of the ACE Group of companies, has launched for its clients that provide an in-depth analysis of property risk management issues facing a range of industries – from leisure to printing and metalworking.
Based on the ACE engineers’ experience of working with organizations across the globe, AGEN said the “fact sheets provide an overview of special hazards associated with each sector, industry trends, loss information and property loss prevention recommendations. There is also a specific fact sheet which looks in detail at supply chain risk issues.
“For each industry profiled, AGEN has taken its experience in conducting property risk assessments in various occupancies and compiled the data to provide an industry benchmarking chart in each fact sheet. These charts show the industry average rating for each of the 21 categories typically reviewed during a survey. This data was collected over a five year period and each one demonstrates a unique insight into the standards of risk management across each industry, enabling Risk Managers to benchmark locations in relation to the average industry practice.
“The charts also highlight industry strengths and weaknesses in particular areas and these provide points for further risk management assessment and possible improvement. For example in most industries there is an evident weakness in the category of sprinklers whose rating falls well below other category ratings.
