The ACE Group announced that it has appointed Yancy J. Molnar as Vice President for International Government Affairs. His role consists of assisting in “developing and implementing government affairs activities to support ACE’s global insurance and reinsurance operations,” said the bulletin.
“This primarily includes representing the company with U.S. and foreign government officials and business groups and serving as an industry resource on trade, legal and regulatory issues.” Molnar, who will be based in Washington, D.C., reports to Patricia Henry, Executive Vice President, Government Affairs.
Molnar joins ACE from Chrysler LLC, where he was most recently Director, Public Policy, responsible for external affairs in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and China. ACE added that over the last 10 years he had advanced through increasingly responsible positions, including stints based in Washington and Beijing, where he “focused on international government affairs and public policy efforts.”
