ACE European Markets has made two appointments at its London branch office.
Stephen French has been appointed to chief underwriting officer. This is a new role will focus on core businesses of property, excess liability and professional lines. French was previously branch manager and property underwriting manager and has served 10 years with ACE and 25 years in the insurance industry.
Neal Hayward has been appointed property underwriting manager for AEM, having been a senior underwriter within the division for the last three years. Hayward was previously with XL Re and Chaucer Syndicate and has 20 years experience in the market.
AEM is a subsidiary of ACE Bermuda Insurance Ltd., a Bermuda-based member of the ACE Group of Companies. AEM commenced operations in Dublin in 1997, and established its London branch office in 2000.
