Swiss Re has named Debra Hall to the newly-created position of vice president and regulatory counsel, Government Relations and Public Policy.

Hall, who is responsible for working with government and industry officials on various issues impacting the property/casualty and life & health businesses, will report to Cosette Simon, Swiss Re’s senior vice president, Government Relations and Public Policy.

Prior to joining Swiss Re, Hall was senior vice president and general
counsel for the Reinsurance Association of America, Washington, D.C., for the past 14 years.
