Bermuda-based Arch Capital Group Ltd. announced that it has named John D. Vollaro to the position of Executive VP and CFO, effective immediately.
“Mr. Vollaro, age 57, held various positions over 26 years with W.R. Berkley Corporation, including President and Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and President and Chief Executive Officer of its reinsurance subsidiary, Signet Star Holdings, Inc.,” said the announcement. He began his career with the accounting firm of KPMG.
Peter Appel, President and CEO stated that, “We are very pleased that John is joining Arch. His extensive insurance and reinsurance experience will serve our organization well.”
