FacWorld, the brainchild of General & Cologne Re, is the reinsurance industry’s first full-service facultative web site, offering online access to all G&C facultative underwriters in the company’s property/casualty and ocean marine disciplines.
Customized submission forms are available for thirteen lines of business, allowing General & Cologne Re clients to quickly and easily transmit risk information to the facultative reinsurance underwriter of their choice.
Forms will be available in English and German and other languages are planned. The FacWorld team members work across the world, allowing FacWorld to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to its transaction capability, FacWorld enables users to establish personal profiles, save and view past submissions, access industry links participate in online discussions, research insurance topics, and download publications and underwriting tools.
