The insurance agency franchise Freeway Insurance is now operating in 28 states with the opening of its newest office in Danbury, Connecticut.
In addition to the new Connecticut location, recent openings have included offices in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, and Tennessee. The company said further expansion is underway Ohio and North Carolina, with more locations planned.
Freeway’s franchise model has been recognized by Entrepreneur magazine as a top low-cost franchise opportunity. The standard franchise fee is $25,000鈥攁nd it offers a discounted rate of $15,000 for honorably discharged veterans.
“Our foundation has always been built on making affordable insurance solutions accessible鈥攅specially to underserved communities,” said Cesar Soriano, CEO of Confie and a U.S. Army veteran. “The success of our franchise program lies in that mission. It’s a model that empowers entrepreneurs鈥攎any of them veterans鈥攖o build businesses that truly make an impact in their local areas.”
In 2008, Freeway Insurance became a part of Confie, a national personal lines insurance distributor, and in 2021 Confie merged with Alliant Insurance Services, a large diversified insurance broker based in California.
