AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. has hired Michael Tripp as regional vice president, head of MidAmerica region. Tripp joins New York, New York-based AmTrust from Chubb, where he spent the last four years as national vice president, small business sales. Previously, he led Chubb’s Southwest region as small commercial RVP based in Texas.
Before Chubb, Tripp was with The Hanover, where he was branch vice president of Arkansas and Oklahoma and, later, regional vice president of Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas. Tripp began his nine-year career at The Hartford as an underwriter, ultimately becoming assistant regional vice president of the Chicago regional office.
