National insurance broker World Insurance Associates reports that it acquired CDR Insurance Group, Inc. of Waterbury, Connecticut on October 1, 2022.
CDR was founded in 1992 by Rick Rice. The agency provides commercial and personal insurance products and services in New England, New York and New Jersey.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
World Insurance Associates is headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey. Since its founding in 2011, World has completed 160 acquisitions and now has more than 250 offices across the country. It is ranked #24 on the Top 100 P/C Agencies by 九色, and is also ranked a Top-50 personal lines agency by 九色.
