The Glatfelter Agency (TGA), a division of Glatfelter Insurance Group, has hired Sean Gormley as the new president of its downtown York, Penn., office. Gormley will focus on developing further growth in personal, business and commercial lines and managing carrier relationships.

Gormley brings 27 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 18 years in a retail agency environment and 11 years in insurance program business. He has previously held leadership positions at Lighthouse Underwriters and Early, Cassidy and Schilling, ECS. Most recently, Gormley served as the director of Commercial Brokerage at AHT and was responsible for managing carrier relationships and commercial business placement.

TGA is a full-service retail division of Glatfelter Insurance Group, offering commercial and personal insurance products, benefits packages and risk management solutions.
