Confie Seguros, a national group of personal lines insurance brokers, announced its acquisition of DeFranco Insurance Agency Inc. in Niagara Falls, N.Y.
DeFranco Insurance Agency specializes in the delivery and service of personal lines insurance products to the Niagara Falls, N.Y., region. DeFranco Insurance Agency was founded in 1970 by Murry DeFranco and has been a family-run business. Confie Seguros said the current staff at DeFranco Insurance will remain in place.
Established in 2008, Confie Seguros is a Calif.-based national insurance distribution company operating in 17 states and primarily focused on the insurance needs of Hispanic consumers. Confie Seguros, a portfolio company of Boston-based private equity firm ABRY Partners, has annual revenue approaching $300 million with more than 540 retail locations.
