Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon plc, recently hired industry veteran Kathy Jacobson as senior vice president for the Washington, D.C., office.

Jacobson will provide errors and omissions expertise while managing and developing new business opportunities in the financial services sector. She most recently served as senior vice president at Seabury & Smith, a division of Marsh.

Jacobson is the immediate past president of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society’s Washington D.C. chapter and a current member of the Professional Insurance Agents of America as well as the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
