Markel Ventures, the investment arm of Virginia-based specialty insurer Markel, has acquired a majority interest in RD Holdings, a private company headquartered in Virginia that provides retail intelligence services.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Markel Ventures owns and manages the investment activities of Markel Corp.
