American International Group has decided to delay a major building project in Wilmington following its acquisition of American General.
Company spokesmen said that the original plan to build twin office towers for up to 3,500 employees, needed to be reviewed, as Am Gen also has several offices in Delaware. AIG indicated that it needs additional time to evaluate its space requirements to determine whether to expand or scale down the building project.
