St. Paul Travelers announced the debut of a new Web site housing more than 1,400 risk management resources for customers, agents and brokers. Resources are said to include the latest research reports and news on safety topics and trends, detailed safety guides on a variety of issues such as product liability and fire protection, survey tools and safety assessments, and hundreds of industry-specific safety management resources.
Among the online resources available, according to St. Paul Travelers, is a variety of industry-specific customer newsletters, such as the “Risk Control Issues News Brief,” a monthly publication with articles on a variety of topics related to workplace safety, health concerns, property protection and product safety, and hundreds of technical bulletins outlining clear and concise safety standards and guidelines for industries ranging from manufacturing to technology.
Also included is a comprehensive section devoted to the risk control needs of small businesses, including CD-ROM training, exposure guides such as property protection, and bulletins on technical issues like business continuity planning.
Additionally, the new Web site contains information on St. Paul Travelers’ Safety Academy, which offers classroom training, focused on helping businesses identify safety concerns and reduce losses. Courses include fleet safety management, effective supervisor training, and fire prevention and protection.
