Software AG Inc., the Reston, Va.-based subsidiary of German system software provider Software AG, unveiled SAGe Insurance, an XML-based insurance tool to reduce IT expenses related to implementation of ACORD庐XML standards. The XML-based solution combines Software AG expertise (SAGe), dedicated to understanding the IT challenges in the insurance industry, and the EntireX XML Mediator product to create, transform and sequence ACORD庐 XML documents in a real-world environment. EntireX XML Mediator provides a new generation of technology that receives ACORD庐 XML documents from any source and uses a complex rules base to determine how each document should be processed and translated into a set of XML and non-XML messages. The documents are then routed in their entirety, or in relevant sections as defined by the organization’s business rules, to the appropriate internal or external systems.
