The counterparty credit and financial strength ratings on Oil Insurance Ltd. (OIL) was raised from ‘A+’ to ‘AA-‘ by S&P. Also raised were the commercial paper and note issuance facility ratings on OIL (from ‘A1’ to ‘A1+’).
At the same time, S&P took action on its short-term commercial paper ratings on Oil Investment (Barbados) Ltd. and Oil Investment Corp. Ltd, OIL’s investment subsidiaries, from ‘A1’ to ‘A1+.
