The Austin Association of Insurance Professionals will hold its 16th Annual Golf Tournament on April 28, 2003 at the Star Ranch Golf Course in Hutto, Texas. A shotgun start is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The cost to participate in the tournament is $110 per person and includes cart, green fee, meal, sodas, beer and prizes. Registration deadline date is April 4, 2003. Each year the money raised at the golf tournament is used to provide scholarships to area high school seniors and to assist in funding our community service projects. Over the past year the group has supported numerous community projects including Make-a-Wish, Capital Area Food bank, Wooten Elementary school, and Austin Fire Department, just to name a few.
